The back deck in progress. We have been here since '92, so the deck is pretty old. We put it in within the first 5 years, and never did anything to it. See that corner with the log and flowers. This is where the grape vine was. beautiful

my Goodwill shopping trip today. Denim & Co. and my first ever Quacker Factory tops. Only the gray and black stripe QF tops fit and the brown D & Co fit. The other tops were too short. So will take them back. I should have held them up in the store. Could have eliminated the hassle of taking them back.

A calzone I made from Dining on a dime cookbook, page 120.I only made 1/2 a recipe. T^6his will make 4 nice servings in half a recipe. She also has a video on You tube on Calzone uploaded yesterday. This was very good.

When I make slippers, I put puffy paint on the bottom of them, so they won't slip on the wood floors. I had gotten some orange paint on this shirt, and tried to fix it. It didn't work very well, so I just put gray glitter paint all over the shirt. I think it fixed it pretty well don't you? Two afghans, the darker one is the same as a previous picture, only I added a border to it. It is made holding 2 strands of Homespun yarn together, 75 stitches and a Q hook. The red, black gray and white afghan is made holding 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together, and an L hook. Can't remember the amount of stitches. I think 150 stitches, and it made the stripes go the length of the ghan. Also, 2 pair of socks. The blue ones were in a previous post, but they didn't show up very well, so I just took a picture of them again with the Violets socks. The blue ones have been worn.
