French bread I made tonight from recipe on Living on a Dime. You can get the recipe from their cookbook, Dining on a Dime or from the Living on a dime site. We couldn't wait to cut into it for me to take pictures of 2 whole loaves. It is so good. It will be great for subs tomorrow.

Two new pair of socks. Not my favorite, but they are finally done. slouchy hats. pattern from Kim Guzman basic slouchy hat. candy corn hats. pattern from Posh Pooch Designs. Three I made with the pattern, thus the pointed top. Then for the next 2, I eliminated the first row, and just started in with the second row, starting with 10 DC in circle, then continued on with the pattern. I also used this pattern for the next 6 hats. I like the pattern a lot.

Hats made on Knifty Knitter looms, both the green round loom and the purple round loom. 6 ear warmers made with super bulky # 6 yarn. 20 dc stitches across, 18 rows, slip stitch together to form a circle. Scarves made from patterns from Posh Pooch Designs. The orange and purple scarf with the flower is the infinity scarf, moebis scarf. The green cream ands lavender one is the Mardi Gras cowl. The yellow, turquoise and variegated cowl is the Cross Over strip cowl. The purple pink blue and white is Spring colors cowl. Then the darker cowl with the cream colored flower is my own design, the other darker cowl is the healing butterfly cowl. I did not follow these patterns exactly, I put my own spin on them, but the original patterns from Posh Pooch Design are great. I love them. Hope you like these too.

soap sacks or soap cozies. Not sure if we will like them or not. New reversible comforter and afghan that I made quite a few years ago.

A mug cozy. I just made it up of 10 dc stitches, kept measuring around my mug until I got the right length. I then sc around with a loop of 10 chains in the middle of one short end. Used a pumpkin button that I made a few years ago out of polymer clay. Hoping this will keep my coffee warmer longer. Three more ear warmers, pattern from Posh Pooch Designs, Poppy dog collar and ear warmer. A cowl made out of chains and sc, pattern from Posh Pooch Designs, Soft chains cowl. A scarf made from a pattern on Posh Pooch Designs. I am not sure I did the center blue according to the pattern. I will check and see if she has a video and go through that to make sure. Hers doesn't look like it has holes in the center like mine does. Oh well, I like it anyway, but I want to try to make it according to her pattern also, Country Cotton Men's scarf, I used acrylic yarn. Here is a better pic of the Christmas cowl.

I put 3 cup brown rice in the bottom of my crockpot, with 9 1/2 cups water. Cooked on low for about 4 hours, once the water was gone, the rice was done. I got 16 cups of cooked brown rice...yummy. Put into 2 cup portions, so 8 packages, 2 cups each, of rice for the freezer. headbands/ear warmers for cancer clinic. The plain ones I am decorating with flowers, leaves, buttons, etc. The special stitch ones I am leaving plain, as I think the stitches are decoration enough. 6 more dish cloths and a pair of mittens for me.

An autumn wreath found at a yard sale, and 2 scrap yarn dolly blankets for the grandgirls. Well, I changed up the 2 scrap baby ghans. I didn't like how they looked, I wanted them bigger, and I wanted a regular border of 1 color on the scrappy one. I like them better now. The first 2 pictures are of the updated ghans.

The back deck all finished painting for this year. Now the front and back decks are both done. My new bed frame. I love it. Before this, my box springs and mattress have been on the floor, and I liked it that way, until hubby found this queen size bed frame at a yard sale. I fell in love with it, and we put it up tonight. What do you all think about it?
